Haiku for You (and other poems)

Miss Cupcake
(With her first ever published poem!)
Slingshot, slingshot
They are fun!
I like to do slingshots
Slingshots are fun!

Miss Butterfly

Monsters
Terrible, Frightening, Scary Monsters

Butter
Slippery, sliding, sticky butter

Horses
Prancing, jumping,
Running all around the meadow
Where the horses play

Home
Cozy, warm, safe
Home is where I want to be
Because my family is there
(To keep me safe)

Mr. Rutabaga
(formerly known as "Lightning Man")
I'm going to impress
I'm going to rhyme a haiku
"I can tie my shoe"

Kangaroo Rat
I like pie and cheese
Also real-ly yummy peas
Oh, my! That sounds good.

Tulip
Nature Sees
Nature sees Bees and Trees
Natures sees Everything!
Flowers, Trees and Seeds.

Nature sees anything:
Bees, trees, seeds, flowers, colors, hives, ponds,
Frogs, bogs, fogs, dogs, hogs.

Wapeaberry
(Dedicated to Spooner and Binks)

Little Brothers
They are full of smiles
They play games outside with me
Yes, I love them so!

Zoe Zephyr
(based upon her recent reading of "Monkey": a folktale of China)
Seeking endless life
Monkey leaves home and monkeys
Brazen fool in heaven

Stealing the peaches
Upsetting Heavenly Feasts
Monkey cares little

Monkey travels on
Battling goofy battles
Against Heavenly Hosts

Monkey spits his haris
They become mini-monkeys
Which gain him victory

Family Haiku
I love to do Haiku
It makes me want to sneeze
Watch out all!  Ah-choo!
