Knights and the Black Plague

If I was a knight, what kind of knight would I have been?
I would have wanted to train in archery, observation and strategy to be able to assist in the defense of those I love ... perhaps some fencing as well.
I would have had a beautiful, sweet-tempered horse and learned how to care for it myself.
I would spend time each day in the forest riding my steed to exercise, observe and to gain clarity of thought.
I would have made time to study woodlore, the behaviors and uses of animals,the location, identity and use of herbs. I would be literate and use some of my days each month, teaching others that skill as well.
I would be modest and chivalrous in a lady like way, respecting my womanhood while training my spirit, mind and body to be able to serve, help, teach and protect those around me.
I would spend my early mornings of each day in a quiet contemplation and study of the Bible, patterning my behavior after Jesus Christ.
