Hava's Caterpillar story

One morning there was a caterpillar; and he liked to wander off places. And once he wandered off and his mom, when she woke up she found out that he was gone. And then, when she went out of her wormhole while her son Bumble was wandering off-- he found a dog! Both of them looked at each other for a little while.
Then Bumble the caterpillar said, “Who are you? I do not know anyone who is bigger than me. What is happening out there in the big life for you?”
“It is fun, but dangerous,” said the dog. “And it’s also fun having people around. They can protect you.”
So the caterpillar thought about going up in the big world with the dog. And so finally, the caterpillar said, “Yes, I would like to come up there.”
So when they went up, lots of people were up there. And the caterpillar got so scared of all the big stuff up there that he ran back home. And the dog started chasing him and a bunch of wolves started chasing him.
Then the wolves tackled the caterpillar. And the caterpillar died.
And they lived happily ever after, except for the caterpillar

THE END.

Precious minutes

"Just a tiny little minute"
the tiny poem says,
but do we really realize
how this can change our ways?

One minute of quiet stillness
A moment with no sound
And calm and gentle movements
Bring peace deep and profound.

A gentle minute taken
To reach out with a smile
A hug and kindly word
Makes a person feel worthwhile.

A joyous minute used
To shout a glorious sound
Followed with boundless gless
Can turn a life around,

Can bring in joy and gladness
And chase the gloom away.
All those tiny minutes
Do we let them change our day?

So next time that you feel
The storm or gloom inside
Take that precious minute
To turn or stop the tide.

Oh, those joyous minutes!
Fourteen hundred strong
Let us use them wisely
All the whole day long!

The Cave-- Chugger-dude

Once there was a cave,
Who I hoped would of behaved,
But now He has collapsed,
and has smashed all the bats.

I have a Vision

I have a vision
I have a vision
I have a vision
Of color in my life

I have a vision
I have a vision
I have a vision
Of following His light.

"King Doughnut"-By Lightning Man

Once upon a time there was a king name was Glazed the dozenth, he ruled the kingdom of Doughy with a sticky but firm grip. The subject loved their ruler and he was commonly seen with them, but he was most commonly seen inside the royal glazer to remain fresh and shiny. The kingdom was at a most strategic spot it could possibly be at that time, for it was at the very top of mount icing, were the subject had plenty of supplies in case of a siege. then as the years passed there began to be sighting at the neighboring kingdom of a army that was being raised. The kingdom of fried, the most warlike kingdom in the history of Foodians, it  was said that in the kingdom of fried, the children were taught to use a butter knife before they even learned to talk, this was all myth of course, but people normally like to believe in thing that give them reason to hate or fear the other. As soon as the king found out what his neighbor was doing, he gave order to prepare for battle. Skewers were to be sharpened, cleavers to be found and shield to grab, the land was ready for war
A month later, war broke out across the land, never was there such a fierce battle.  Cream filled doughnuts were firing their stuffed doughnut holes at the enemy and the enemy was firing their red hot pans into the ranks of doughnuts, doughnut at arms lowered their skewers and skewered all the steak that would charge at them, the drum sticks would come in swinging and would break the ranks of doughnut at arms with ease, the air was thick with knives and cleavers. Then at dawn the taxen doughnuts came in and scatter all ranks and barbequed all who would oppose them, it was a fierce battle, but was lost at the beginning, for all those Doughyians who were fighting knew that if they lost they would either be burnt or be overstuffed, so they fought with so much fiery that they began to beat back the enemy all the to the castle.
then when every one of the kingdom of fried thought all hope was lost, Sir bacon unleased his secret weapon. As he descended down to where it lie, he thought of all the many Foodians who would have to scatter and hide as best they could. as he approached the lair of this creature he heard it whispering to him to enter, then frozen with terror watched as the monster opened its cage with ease. There was a loud cry heard all of a sudden, that struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest of Food, every doughnut at arm, drum stick, steak and taxen doughnut scattered, the weak and wounded were left for dead. The king Glazed sat upon his stead, staring at the growing figure, a figure he hoped to never see….
 A HUMAN CHILD!!!

Worm Poo (or "Me vs. the Leaves")--Zoe Zephyr

Rain is falling all around
Puddles everywhere abound
Splash, splash, splash, such fun, fun, fun!
Until they vanish in the sun.

Sun is shining everywhere,
Could fry you up, have a care!
Sunscreen, pools, and shade galore--
The greening leaves the warmth adore.

Leaves are falling from the tree
Drifting, drifting down on me
Time to rake up every one.
Boy, this job sure is fun!

Leaves are falling all around
From far and near without a sound.
Hey! This one's from the neighbor's yard.
Raking leave sure can be hard!!

Leaves are falling yet again...
Hither, thither, yon...oh man!
Dad wants it all in a pile,
'Ware the wind can make it wild!

Leave still falling, what the hey!
Where do they come from anyway?!
This rake and I are now best friends...
Might as well, job never ends.

Leaves are falling...wait, tis snow!
Thought it wouldn't end, you know.
Now the rake and I are through,
Plows and shovels overdue!

Snow is falling all around
On the rooftops, on the ground.
Snow is falling on my nose,
On my head, my hands and toes.

Snow is falling, soft and white,
Covers all, oh! What a sight!
Leaves are buried; time to roll
Men and women out of snow!

Snow is rolled up, what is this?!
Leaves upon my snowy Miss!
Shoot, these leaves are everywhere,
From the tippy top to their dairy-aire.

Rain is falling, snow is gone,
Spring is showing on the lawn.
Leaves are broken down, it's true,
All ground up into worm poo.

Rain and leaves and sun and snow,
Seasons come and seasons go.
And between the worms and me
We'll get all those leaves, you'll see!

"The Dive"-- by Lightning Man

Max stood at the top of the high dive.  Looking down at the water, which now looked miles away, he knew he shouldn't have asked Mom if he could go off the high dive.  The wind rustled Max's dark curly hair.  Sounds of anger reached his ears.  Max looked back down the ladder at the people who were now ant-sized.
"Kid, just jump so the others can go," Max heard the lifeguard shout.
If he's shouting, Max thought, then this diving board is way to high, as he walked towards the end, knees locked.  When he reached the end, he said to himself, "Just don't look down."
Then, as he was about to step off, all went black and he fell.
******
The lifeguard watched as the boy's body fell to the water and the lifeguard sighed.
"I'm glad I'm quitting tomorrow," he muttered to himself, as he got ready to dive in.

"Help Me, Rhonda"--by Mark Wilson

I like leaves
I like them alot
I like to rake them
And smoke them like pot.
